Abstract

Sketches, maps, surveys, and descriptions resulting from McBride's archaeological investigations in the Ohio River Valley region, particularly the Miami Valley. These papers were drawn upon extensively by Ephraim George Squier and Edwin Hamilton Davis for their book, Ancient Monuments of the Mississippi Valley (1847).
